The Lee group develops advanced computational tools to support the design of cancer vaccines by improving epitope prediction. Inaccurate prediction can lead to vaccines that miss their targets and fail to protect patients. We use machine learning and tumour data to predict which mutations are most likely to be recognised by the immune system. Our models are designed to select both personal neoantigens and shared tumour targets, enabling personalised and off-the-shelf vaccine strategies. By making predictions more accurate and reliable, we aim to help transform computational designs into effective cancer therapies.
