Rose Clark

BSc (Hons), MSc

Research Assistant

Background

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Durham University in 2021. This laid the groundwork for my academic journey into immunology and cancer research. In 2023 I graduated with a Master's degree in Integrated Immunology from the University of Oxford. During my Master's project, I joined Prof. Eileen Parkes’ research group, where I investigated the role of myeloid cells in chromosomally unstable oesophageal adenocarcinoma. This sparked my interest in the tumour microenvironment.

Since graduating, I have continued my research journey as a Research Assistant within the Center of Immuno-Oncology. Working closely with the labs of Prof. Eileen Parkes and Dr Isabela Pedroza-Pacheco, I focus on unravelling the complexities of tertiary lymphoid structure development in lung adenocarcinoma. My goal is to contribute towards potential therapeutic strategies through a deeper understanding of tumour-immune interactions.
