ANTI-CANCER T CELL RESPONSES

I am a Research Assistant in Professor David Withers' newly established lab. I have a particular interest in studying anti-cancer T cell responses using in vivo tumour models to dissect how the tumour microenvironment influences T cell interactions, migration and exhaustion. Using cutting-edge mouse models, my work aims to temporally understand the mechanisms by which cancer subverts the anti-tumour T cell response, and how manipulating tumour stroma can overcome this.

Prior to this role, I spent four years studying at the University of Birmingham, completing an MSc in Immunology and Immunotherapy and a BSc in Biomedical Science.
