Research interests:
I am currently part of the Oxford Molecular and Cellular Diagnostics Centre (MCDC), contributing to collaborative translational research programmes, including the GSK LungVax cancer vaccine initiative. My primary role is within the Leung Laboratory, where I investigate the immunogenicity and anti-tumour efficacy of next-generation cancer vaccines using both in vitro and pre-clinical in vivo models. My work combines molecular biology, immunology and multiparametric immune profiling to understand vaccine-induced immune responses.
More broadly, I am interested in translational cancer biology, cancer vaccines, tumour–immune interactions and the development of immunotherapeutic strategies that can be translated from the laboratory into clinical benefit.
Background:
I completed my BSc in Medical Biosciences at Imperial College London, where my research project, in collaboration with the AstraZeneca Imaging Diagnostics team, explored the use of radiomics and machine learning to develop non-invasive imaging biomarkers for cancer prognostics. I then completed an MSc in Applied Cancer Sciences at the University of Oxford, where my research focused on the tumour microenvironment, investigating how cancer-associated fibroblasts influence prostate cancer progression through paracrine signalling.
My research experience has spanned imaging biomarkers, the tumour microenvironment, and cancer immunology, providing me with a broad perspective on cancer research across both computational and experimental approaches.
